Cancellation Policy

This booking policy applies to DJ performances (private events, weddings, nightlife, festivals, etc.), Appearances, Speaking engagements, Hosting & MC services, and Other event-related bookings Reservation Fee A 50% non-refundable reservation fee is required to secure your date(s). Dates are not confirmed until the reservation fee is received and a signed agreement is in place. Final Payment The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the event date. If otherwise agreed in writing, balance may be collected upon DJ Monie’s arrival at the event. Payments can be made via Credit/Debit Card, CashApp ($TheDJMonie), ApplePay (323-303-4996), Zelle (iamsimonehughes@gmail.com). Cancellations Client Cancellation: You may cancel your booking at any time; however, the 50% reservation fee will not be refunded. DJ Monie Cancellation: In the rare event DJ Monie cannot fulfill your booking, an appropriate professional replacement will be provided. If a replacement cannot be arranged, all monies paid will be refunded in full. Event Details The client must provide complete event details (venue address, start/end times, setup requirements) no later than 14 days before the event. Any changes to event details must be submitted in writing and approved by DJ Monie. Overtime Additional time beyond the contracted hours will be billed at the hourly overtime rate outlined in your agreement. Rider & Requirements DJ Monie may provide a technical rider and/or talent rider with specific setup, equipment, and hospitality requirements. These must be met by the client unless otherwise agreed in writing. Force Majeure Neither party shall be liable for non-performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or illness. Acceptance By paying the reservation fee, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to this Booking Policy.
