Service Description
Whether you're touching a controller for the first time or you've already started DJing and want some hands-on help, your private lesson is built around where you are and what you want to learn. This isn't a one-size-fits-all class. We'll spend our time on the skills, questions, and challenges that matter most to you. New DJs can learn the fundamentals and get comfortable behind the decks without feeling like they're supposed to already know what every button does. DJs with some experience can use the session to troubleshoot specific skills, improve their transitions, strengthen their set flow, or get feedback on areas where they feel stuck. Depending on your experience level, we can work on: • DJ equipment and basic setup • Serato and music organization • Cueing and track preparation • Beatmatching • EQs, phrasing, and transitions • Song selection and programming • Reading the room • Building and organizing DJ sets • Open-format mixing • Troubleshooting techniques you're struggling with • Developing confidence behind the decks • DJ business, branding, and professionalism Bring your questions. Bring the transitions that have been giving you hell. Bring the mix you want feedback on. We'll meet you where you are and work from there. *In-person pricing includes travel within the Atlanta metro area. Locations outside the metro area may require an additional travel fee. Please contact us before booking if you're outside the service area.
Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to all in-person DJ lessons, virtual DJ lessons, and Group DJ Experiences provided by Si'mone "DJ Monie" Lewis. Payment Terms: All services must be paid in full at the time of booking through our secure online checkout. Your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received. No Deposit Required: A deposit is not required for these services. Full payment secures your spot. Refund Policy: All sales are final. Due to the nature of our services and limited availability, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances. Rescheduling Policy: You may reschedule your session once with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled time, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your session may be forfeited without credit or refund. Late Arrivals & No Shows: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. If you miss your session without prior notice, you will forfeit the booking without credit or refund. Technical Requirements (Virtual Services): You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, working audio/video setup, and any required software prior to your session. We are not responsible for missed time due to client-side technical issues. Recording Policy: Sessions may not be recorded, shared, or distributed without written consent from DJ Monie. Acceptance: By booking and paying for your session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Booking Policy.
